Julien Colonna signs a powerful film for Apprentis d'Auteuil's 160th anniversary

To mark its 160 years of commitment to disadvantaged youth, the Apprentis d'Auteuil foundation, together with Solab and TBWA Paris, unveils a new campaign aimed at raising public awareness and mobilizing donors around vulnerable and stigmatized young people.

Produced by Solab and directed by Julien Colonna, the film plunges us into a courtroom. In the defendant's seat is Noé, a 4-year-old child with his stuffed animal. The verdict is handed down: he is found guilty of offenses he will commit 14 years from now. "No child should be condemned to go down the wrong path," concludes the voiceover.

A judicial universe and an absurd staging that highlight an unfair reality: too often we assume that a child's destiny is written in advance and that their path is set from the starting line. Because they were not born in the right place, they are condemned before they have even acted.

Driven by the vision and sensitivity of the director, who made the acclaimed 2024 feature film Le Royaume, and by the luminous presence of the very young child, this powerful campaign challenges the public on issues of social inequality and the prejudices some young people face. Apprentis d'Auteuil reaffirms its belief in the potential of these young people and its commitment to transforming their future, with everyone's support.
