Luca Werner Exhibition « The Dream of the Bus Driver » and « Dinamo »
For issue No. 396 of Holiday Magazine (Samarkand Issues), director Luca Werner unveiled two captivating short films shot in Uzbekistan.
The exhibition, titled The Dream of the Bus Driver and Dinamo, took place at Galerie Allen (8 rue Rambuteau, 75003 Paris) on March 7 and 8, 2026, with a public opening on March 6 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
The films offered a poetic glimpse into everyday life in Uzbekistan. The first was a documentary portrait of local youth, filmed in a municipal swimming pool. The second, more choreographed, invited viewers on a journey around a Soviet-era cinema.
Two sensitive works that celebrated, with tenderness and memory, the ordinary life of Samarkand.
